Another installment in the perfect “instagrammable” location series around Toronto: Graffiti Alley.
This is a pretty cool location, because the name essentially is what it is.
Grafitti Alley consists of a number of alleys and blocks full of vibrant and colourful street ary and murals, close to the trendy Queen Street West area. Almost every nook and cranny of this location is painted with artwork by various artists.
This location also makes for an amazing photoshoot location, whether it's for your Instagram page, or an actual professional photoshoot.
I've been twice and seen professional shoots happening both times.
It's not a location that's set up with art work as though it were a galley however, rather it's literal spray painted/painted art all over the walls of the alley ways.
Ranging from Rick and Morty illustrations, to pink panther, chicks, an aquarium, quotes, there's such a range.
The sunlight is your friend for top quality pictures, but the best part of Graffiti Alley is that it's both free, and open all year long!
Located in Downtown Toronto, around the Queen Street West area, you’re also in pretty close proximity to some great food places, including the Queen street warehouse which is famous for its affordable food menu and range of drinks and cocktails, (about a 10 minute walk.)
Of all my tourist-y location places, this is definitely a top ten for your own personal photoshoot with some instantly recognizable art work all over.
As usual, here's your regular reminder to check the forecast before you leave.
Since the location essentially never closes, you can chose when you want to go, no matter the time of year, but always check that forecast so you don't get caught by surprise by an unexpected but expected Canadian weather switch up.
This is a type of location where the photos and videos speak for themselves, so while this is a pretty short post, check out my TikTok Video - "Graffiti Alley in 60 seconds" to really get a feel of the location.
